JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Coordinator manages the clinical education component of the curriculum, collaborating with academic and clinical faculty to ensure high‑quality learning experiences during clinical education.

BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION

Plans, coordinates, facilitates, administers, and monitors clinical education activities, ensuring compliance and quality of student learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing and assessing the clinical education component with the Program Director.
• Coordinate and implement site placements, site visits, and evaluations, including selecting ethical clinical learning environments.
• Manage the clinical facility database and maintain current agreements and contracts.
• Communicate curriculum, objectives, policies, and schedules to affiliating clinical partners.
• Facilitate students’ clinical education: oversee communication with Center Coordinators, Clinical Instructors, and students; provide guidance, problem‑solve, and lead pre‑affiliation meetings.
• Assess student performance during clinical rotations and administer policies for immunizations, health practices, and injury management.
• Prepare rotation assignments and teach related clinical courses.
• Ensure compliance with site requirements, student immunization forms, continuing education hours, and liability protection.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Clinical Nurse Educator must hold an MSN, a Florida RN license, and have at least 4 years of clinical practice.
• Full‑time position requiring day and weekend availability.
• Experience in academic or career‑college environments is highly desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of clinical education administration, curriculum development, and compliance standards.
