Job summary

Temple University Health System, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Coordinator at Episcopal Campus to oversee nursing service delivery and staffing. The role coordinates bed assignments and partners with department managers to expedite patient movement within a large health system.

You will assist Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in staff development, human resource activities, and quality care initiatives while handling clinical and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing required.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required or equivalent.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of nursing services across the organization.
• Manages nursing staff resources to ensure adequate staffing.
• Facilitates bed assignments and patient movement with hospital departments.
• Collaborates with Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers on staff development and HR management.
• Supports quality care initiatives and performs clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Nursing

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Coordinates the delivery of nursing services to patients across the organization. Ensures adequate nursing staff through the management of nursing staff resources. Facilitates and coordinates bed assignments within the hospital. Directs and collaborates with appropriate department managers to facilitate and expedite patient movement. Assists the Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in continuous staff development, human resource management, and in promoting quality care. Responsible for clinical and/or non-clinical administrative duties.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
• Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting Required
• General Experience in a clinical management role Preferred

Licenses

• PA Registered Nurse License Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred
