Job summary

Indigo Urgent Care, a MultiCare company, is hiring a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant for the North Region with 0.9 FTE and a 8am-8pm schedule. You will coordinate patient care, perform MA-C scope tasks, and support clinic management. Expect collaboration with physicians and staff to improve patient experiences.

The role requires MA-C license in WA (interim acceptable), BLS, and at least 1 year in a medical setting. Idaho WA-R options and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification required (Washington) or interim certification acceptable up to one year
• BLS certification required or can be obtained in-house
• Minimum one year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
• Idaho: CMA certification (AAMA/NHA/NCCT); WA MA-R license endorsed by Indigo within 30 days; WA DOH MA-R within 7 days of hire

Responsibilities

This is a FLOAT position for our North Region Urgent Care Clinics.

North Region

Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, Sammamish, Bothell, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Shoreline, Lake Stevens, and Marysville

FTE: 0.9 | Shift: Day | Schedule: 8am-8pm (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Unique Earning Potential

• $2.50/hour Indigo Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked

• $1.75/hour X-Ray Certification Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked for employees who become trained and certified in X-Ray

• $1.25/hour Weekend Differential for staff who work weekend shifts

• Extra Shifts and Float incentives awarded when applicable

• Monthly Indigo Incentive Program, with a payout rate of up to $300/month

Position Summary

The Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in health care through performing clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope. As a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant, you will work in high-collaboration with your team to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences. You will support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
• You will perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
• You will create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients

Requirements

Washington State Requirements

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Washinton State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA-C is issued.
• Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
• Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
• Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire Washington State Medical Assistant-
  Certified (MA-C) license within 45 days of hire.

Idaho State Requirements

• Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
• WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsed by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment
• Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
• Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
• Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
