Job summary

Indigo Health is seeking a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant to augment patient care within MA-C license scope. You will collaborate with clinicians and front-office staff to coordinate care and ensure positive patient experiences.

The role features a 0.9 FTE, day shifts from 8am-8pm, and 3x12-hour schedule, with competitive benefits and incentive programs. Washington and Idaho state requirements apply, including MA-C/MA-R certification and BLS; prior physician office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington MA-C certification or MA-R acceptable with endorsement within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification or in-house training program may be required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a physician's office or medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes.
• Perform functions within clinic requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data.

Unique Earning Potential, in addition to your base hourly rate:

• $2.50/hour Indigo Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked
• $1.75/hour X-Ray Certification Premium on top of base rate for all hours worked for employees who become trained and certified in X-Ray
• $1.25/hour Weekend Differential for staff who work weekend shifts
• Extra Shifts and Float incentives awarded when applicable
• Monthly Indigo Incentive Program, with a payout rate of up to $300/month

Requirements

Washington State Requirements

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Washinton State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA-C is issued.
• Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
• Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
• Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire Washington State Medical Assistant- Certified (MA-C) license within 45 days of hire.

Idaho State Requirements

• Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
• WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsed by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment
• Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
• Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
• Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
