Job summary

PCCA seeks a Clinical Compounding Pharmacist to serve as a liaison, answering scientific questions and providing training and consultations to our member pharmacists. You will educate through CORE seminars, act as an ambassador for the profession, and engage with practitioners, academics, regulators, and vendors in a dynamic, collaborative environment in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D required.
  • Five years of compounding experience in a pharmacy practice.
  • Board Certification in Sterile Compounding preferred or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Answer member questions by phone or email in a timely, professional manner.
  • Teach pharmacists and technicians in CORE and other seminars as required.
  • Act as an ambassador for PCCA and the pharmacy profession.
  • Interact with customers, practitioners, academics, vendors, regulators and staff.
  • Provide consultative services on extemporaneous compounding including USP, FDA guidance, and literature.
  • Assist in education through lectures at trainings and seminars.
  • Support special projects as needed.
