Director, Non-Invasive Cardiology

Penn State Health Medical Group-Cardiology

Cumberland County/Dauphin County, PA

Penn State Health Medical Group-Cardiology is currently recruiting for a full-time Director, Non-Invasive Cardiology to join Penn State Health (PSH) in Cumberland County/Dauphin County, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the existing group of non-invasive cardiologists at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA and at our new 108-bed community hospital, Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, in Mechanicsburg, PA upon its completion. The Director will be responsible for the ongoing development, growth, and oversight of the non-invasive cardiology practice and will work with the PSH Medical Group-Cardiology leadership team in advancing the mission of the CV Network.

The selected candidate should be experienced with working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists, supportive of quality improvement initiatives and dedicated to ensuring a quality patient experience. The selected candidate should also be experienced in working with senior hospital leadership administrators as well as referring providers across a Health System of Cardio Vascular care in an effort to ensure long‑term heart health for its surrounding community.

Appropriate candidates will have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and additional sub‑specialty fellowship in Cardiology and will have experience leading a non‑invasive cardiology practice.

Job Requirements

• Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
• 3+ years' experience leading a non-invasive cardiology practice
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program
• Eligible for licensure for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
• Ability to accept and implement change
• Demonstrated history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, administrators and patients
