Job summary

Damar Services is seeking a Psychometrist to work under clinical supervision to administer, score, and compile results of comprehensive evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. The role involves direct client and family work, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and coordination with schools and clinics.

Essential functions include routine testing, data organization, crisis intervention as needed, and ensuring supplies and records are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field from an accredited institution with completion of coursework relevant to position (e.g., psychological assessment, clinical psychology, statistics, neuroscience) required
• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and compile results of full comprehensive evaluations under clinical supervision
• Establish rapport and interact flexibly with clients and families
• Assist and participate with evaluation clinics and gather collateral documentation
• Provide crisis intervention and crisis consultation as necessary
• Ensure testing supplies are available and maintained
• Coordinate with schools, clinics, and families to ensure integrated services

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field

Master’s degree preferred
