Qualifications

• Medical Scribe training program if the Scribe role is required by the department.
• 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BCLS certification – Required Issuing Authority: AHA.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between physicians, patients, families, and insurance companies to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate daily activities of physician team staff for efficient operations.
• Assist with patient flow, examinations, vitals, specimen collection, and phlebotomy duties as needed.
• Handle clerical duties including EMR charting, records requests, and forms processing.
• Enter orders in EMR or prepare prescription refill requests for physician review.
