Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Care Associate to provide nursing assistance and patient care for comfort and safety. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient charts, transcribe orders, and enter information into the computerized care system.

The role operates within a unit-based, self‑directed care team, performing clerical duties as needed. Requires BLS, 1 year of patient care experience, and relevant CNA/ CMA/ RMA certifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient care experience (CNA, PCT, ED Tech or similar).
• Active certification: CNA Georgia Registry, AAMA CMA, AMT RMA or NHA CMA.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, transcribe orders.
• Enter orders and patient information into the computerized care system.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Care Associate provides nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties within the construct of a unit‑based, self‑directed, multidisciplinary patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non‑licensed members. Performs general clerical and reception duties according to needs of patient unit or department. Position is characterized by preparing and maintaining patient charts, transcribing physician orders, and entering information into computerized patient care system.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
• OR
• Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• OR
• Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• OR
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
