Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing and licensed in Minnesota.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Experience with EMR systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the RN and medical providers.
• Prepare for visits using the EMR prior to patient visits.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality improvement standards.
• Complete orders and assist with provider requests.
• Restock exam rooms and manage supplies.
• Consider age-related factors in patient care across the lifespan.
• Document provider work accurately if serving as a scribe.
