Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles and techniques in assessment and treatment of auditory and balance disorders.
• Ability to interact with patients, families, and other health care professionals.
• Ability to counsel and communicate with patients and families regarding management of hearing/vestibular disorders.
• English language proficiency as required by VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose audiologic disorders and conduct audiologic or neuro-audiologic assessments.
• Treat auditory disorders through various modalities and provide adjunctive interventions.
• Involve in program evaluation, teaching, training, and research activities.
• Provide individual, family and group audiologic rehabilitation.
