The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is one of ten departments and programs in the School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS). The CSD Department is the home of the UNCG Speech and Hearing Center. The Center is located on the third floor of the Ferguson Building on the main campus of UNCG and has been in operation since 1967. The mission of the Center is to provide prevention, evaluation, and intervention services on campus and in the community to individuals of all ages with hearing and communication disorders. The Center also has a mission to provide clinical education and training to students and to engage in clinical research and community outreach.
We are seeking a highly motivated audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic audiologic services for patients across the life span with experience in tinnitus, sound sensitivity, and auditory processing. The role will focus on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of hearing-related disorders through evidence‑based audiologic evaluation and patient‑centered care. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), daytime position. Strong collaborative communication skills and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes are essential.
The minimum qualifications for this position will be a doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D) and licensure in audiology from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology.
