Walsh University Byers School of Nursing seeks an innovative Nurse Educator to join the BSN program as a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in Medical-Surgical Nursing and/or Critical Care. The candidate must have current clinical experience in one of these areas; teaching experience is preferred.

The successful candidate will provide learner-centered instruction to undergraduate nursing students, offer academic advising, engage in professional development, and participate in CCNE

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required or doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience.
• Strong clinical background in medical-surgical and/or critical care nursing.

Position SummaryWalsh University Byers School of Nursing seeks an innovative Nurse Educator to join the successful and highly respected Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program as a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in Medical-Surgical Nursing and/or Critical Care. The candidate must have current clinical experience in one of the above areas. Teaching experience preferred.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Prepares and provides learner-centered instruction of undergraduate nursing students in the junior or senior level nursing courses and other undergraduate nursing courses as assigned.
