The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, seeks part-time clinical cardiologists for 10% Clinical Associate appointments renewable for up to three years. These roles focus on outpatient cardiology and consultations across Chicagoland, including reading EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms.

Inpatient consultation opportunities are available at Hyde Park; teaching or scholarly activity is not required, and these positions are not benefits eligible.

Formación

• Medical doctorate or equivalent required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Cardiology required.

• Read EKGs and interpret results in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is seeking part-time clinical cardiologists for appointments as 10% Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years.

These positions will be primarily focused on outpatient cardiology practice and consultation at our various Chicagoland locations. Appointees will read EKGs, perform exercise stress tests, and read/interpret echocardiograms.

There will also be opportunities for inpatient consultation at our main campus in Hyde Park. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. These positions are not benefits eligible.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:

1. 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent,


2. 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois,


3. 3) be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology.
