Job summary

The University at Buffalo seeks a full-time 12-month Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences. The role includes clinical and didactic teaching at DDS and post-DDS levels, supervising and lecturing in clinical courses, and leading scholastic activities in radiology with post-graduate students.

Qualifications include a DDS/DMD or equivalent with OMFR certification and at least one year each in teaching and patient care; NY licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of academic/clinical teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinically and didactically at pre- and post-DDS levels.

• Produce scholarly activity in oral and maxillofacial radiology including supervision of research with post-graduate students.

Position Summary

The Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences at the University at Buffalo is seeking a full-time 12-month Clinical Associate Professor. As a faculty member, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post-DDS levels.
• Research activity, patient care at the Radiology Clinic
• Provide supervision and lectures in clinical courses for DDS and post graduate students.
• Produce scholastic activity in the field of oral and maxillofacial radiology including but not limited to the direct supervision of research activities with the post graduate students.
• Provide supervision and lectures in clinical courses for DDS and post graduate students in the field.
• Experience in educational innovation, use of technology in education, and computer skills are expected.

Minimum Qualifications

• DDS, DMD or equivalent. Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology certificate from an accredited program
• Minimum of one-year of experience teaching
• Minimum of one year of experience providing patient care
• Minimum of one year of experience in academic and/or clinical teaching

Preferred Qualifications

• New York State licensure
• Board certified or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
