Job summary

UCI Health is seeking qualified candidates for a Clinical Associate Cardiothoracic Surgeon position within the Department of Specialty Care Associates. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive adult cardiac and thoracic surgical services, including evaluation, operative treatment, perioperative management, and emergency surgical consultation.

Total rewards include base salary in the range $825,000–$950,000, with productivity-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Base salary range and total compensation: $825,000 - $950,000.

In addition to base salary, the Cardiothoracic Surgeon will be eligible for a productivity-based incentive upon achieving the wRVU threshold required to offset their base salary. Once this break-even threshold is met, the physician will receive a percentage of the applicable dollar-per-wRVU rate for productivity exceeding the threshold, in accordance with the established compensation plan.
