Job summary

Upstate Medical University in Syracuse seeks a physician-scientist with a strong interest in basic research to provide urologic oncologic care in inpatient, outpatient and surgical settings. The candidate will also assist in the mission of the Chair to develop excellence in patient care, research and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows in the field of Urology and its related subspecialties.

This role may include spending a portion of time at one or more satellite clinics.

Qualifications

• MD, DEA, board eligibility required.
• PhD with strong interest in basic research preferred; Fellowship trained in urologic oncology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide urologic oncologic care in inpatient, outpatient and surgical settings.
• Assist in the mission to develop excellence in patient care, research and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
• May spend time at satellite clinics.
