Job summary

Virginia Orthodontic Partners is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team. The clinician delivers positive clinical experiences, assisting with appliances, records, and remote monitoring, under the supervision of an orthodontist.

You will educate patients, manage chart data, and maintain infection-control standards while supporting marketing efforts and community events. A dental background and state-specific credentials may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician/IDental Assistant.
  • Radiography certification if required by state.
  • CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision.
  • Maintain patient flow and appointment schedule.
  • Review patient charts and transcribe doctor notes.
  • Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.

Looking for a career that makes you smile?Virginia Orthodontic Partners is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team.Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.How you’ll make us better:Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the OrthodontistPerform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flowReview patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notesPerform laboratory procedures under supervision of an OrthodontistAssist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flowAdminister the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notificationsEducate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoringClean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocolsAssist in Local Store Marketing and community eventsAdhere to all infection-control policies and protocolsYour special skills:We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness.
