Job summary

Clinical Assistant I at Solis Mammography is a full-time, on-site role at 10800 Knights Road in Philadelphia, PA. You will support patient flow, assist radiologists, and help prepare procedures while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Energetic and flexible; able to manage multiple projects.
• Well organized and detail oriented with good judgment.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
• College coursework or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates appropriate patient flow between registration and modalities to ensure proper care is provided in a timely manner.
• Chaperones radiologists as needed.
• Properly sets up trays for procedures; assists radiologists or technologists with procedures as required.
• Proficient in the use of RIS/PACS and Penrad/MagView.
• Schedules patients for follow up and/or additional exams; obtains appropriate orders.
• Verifies and inputs patient information into system 100% of the time.
• Explains and assists patients with completion of forms on an as needed basis.
• Maintains patient confidentiality 100% of the time; adheres to attendance policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
