Bellin Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant (CNA) for the Emergency Department in Green Bay, WI. The department features 22 beds, 4 trauma bays, 18 treatment rooms, and pediatric care via a 5-bed Kid Care unit, serving about 40,000 visits annually.

Responsibilities include patient care under RN supervision, processing department information, and performing receptionist duties. Eligibility requires placement on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Must be 18 years or older; high school students are not eligible.

FTE Status:Full Time or Part-Time opportunities available
Work Schedule:Day/PM shifts, with an every third weekend rotation & a holiday rotation
Unit Description:The Emergency Department at Bellin Health comprises 22 beds, 4 trauma bays, and 18 treatment rooms. It also features 2 triage rooms, and a 5-bed Kid Care unit dedicated to pediatrics, accommodating around 40,000 patient visits annually. Designed by our frontline teams, the Emergency Department is fully equipped. Our board-certified Emergency Department physicians collaborate with advanced practice clinicians, registered nurses, paramedics, EMTs, student nurse technicians, and CNAs to deliver individualized care to our emergency room patients.

• Please note: Due to the scheduling demands and the nature of patient care in this department, we are unable to consider applicants who are high school students or under the age of 18 for this position.

Job Description

Responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Coordinates and processes department patient information; performs secretarial tasks, and maintains organized work-flow of department. Functions as department receptionist, and responds to customer inquires or customer is referred to appropriate person(s).
