Job summary

Essen Health Care, a large multispecialty medical group in New York, invites a Foreign Medical Graduate to join as Clinical Assistant. You will support providers with notes, records, and vitals, contributing to high-quality, personalized care across divisions in the NYC area.

We seek candidates with USMLE exposure, ECFMG certification, strong communication, and customer-service orientation, plus proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Medical graduation (international or national) and successful USMLE portions.
• ECFMG certification is required for practice in the US.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in entering and reviewing medical records; EMR navigation.
• Team player with genuine compassion for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with day-to-day tasks including taking notes and updating medical records.
• Monitor patient vitals and support providers to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist across divisions within the New York City area to support patient workflow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions.
• Support care delivery to ensure personalized patient service.

Job Summary

Foreign Medical Graduate / Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities

• He/she will assist the providers in day to day task such as, taking notes, updating medical records, and monitoring a person’s vitals.
• Play a very important role in assisting the providers to deliver the highest quality of personalized healthcare service to our patient
• Assisting the providers to deliver the highest quality of personalized healthcare service to our patient
• Perform a variety of tasks to assist physicians in providing best patient care.
• Responsible to work throughout the various divisions in the New York City area

Qualifications

• Medical Graduation (International or National) Passed portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
• Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG)
• Excellent Customer services
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passion to help others and ensure patients are receiving proper care
• Team player
• Clinical Knowledge
• Must be comfortable with EMR navigation- preferably e-Clinical works Computer savvy/ Excel, Adobe, Word, PowerPoint
• Graduated from a foreign medical school

$17.00-$18.00 an hour
