Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona seeks a Clinical Application Manager, Ancillary Applications to lead a team supporting PM/EHR workflows including Epic and VetSpire. You will manage project scope, timelines, and collaborate with clinic staff to optimize outpatient workflows.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT or healthcare, 7–10 years IT experience in healthcare, and 1–3 years of management experience, with strong mentoring and organizational skills.
The Clinical Application Manager, Ancillary Applications reports tothe Director of Clinical Applications and is responsible forproviding technical leadership and guidance to a team of ClinicalSpecialists and Analysts that support the outpatient clinicalworkflows for current PM/EHR applications, as well as oursupporting clinical application workflows throughout MidwesternUniversity clinics. This position supervises this team, managesproject requests and timelines, and partners with clinic staff indeveloping efficient workflows within the PM/EHR applications(Epic, VetSpire) and other ancillary systems.

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in IT or Healthcare relatedfield. 7-10 years of IT experience, in a healthcare organization.Must have 1-3 years of management experience, with 3-5 years ofmanagement experience preferred. Prior experience leading a teamwhose responsibilities were related to clinical applicationimplementation, application support and optimization preferred. Theideal candidate will have strong mentoring and decision-makingskills and be detailed oriented. Integration of applicationexperience is highly recommended.
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.EHR/PM Application experience required. Must have the ability andwillingness to learn new software and systems as necessary.
