Job summary

Penn State University is seeking an anatomist educator at the assistant professor, non-tenure track level, based at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The role centers on expanding and running an innovative clinical anatomy curriculum for PA students and coordinating gross anatomy labs.

Responsibilities include lecturing, supervising anatomy labs, and mentoring graduate students; collaboration with MD/PA program directors and other anatomy faculty to ensure accreditation

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Anatomy or a related field with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience including full human dissection.
• Additional experience teaching embryology and histology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run an innovative clinical anatomy curriculum for the PA program.
• Teach PA anatomy lectures and lead PA anatomy labs with graduate students as TAs.
• Collaborate with MD and PA course directors to ensure integration and accreditation standards.
