Job summary

IRMC in Ligonier, PA is hiring a Clinic Technologist for our Radiology and Imaging department. This full-time on-site role supports EKGs, phlebotomy, urine screens, and radiographic exams, serving patients from neonates to adults.

The ideal candidate has completed an approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, and BLS certification (or within one month of hire); 2+ years of radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved school of radiologic technology.
• 2+ years’ experience in radiology preferred.
• ARRT registration upon hire; BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Following established procedures, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, urine drug screens, and radiographic examinations as ordered by the physician.
• Assessing and providing appropriate treatment for all patients ranging from neonate through adult.
• Working with vital signs, patient discharges, breath alcohol testing, and other duties needed to provide safe and efficient care to all patients.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Able to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads.
