Job summary

Providence is seeking an experienced Clinic RN to deliver comprehensive ambulatory nursing care in a physician-led setting. You will assess patient needs, coordinate care plans, and educate patients across the lifespan while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires California RN licensure, 18 months of nursing experience, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred. This on-site position offers day shifts and a supportive environment within a renowned health network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• ADN or BSN degree required or preferred as listed.
• California RN license required at hire.
• Within 30 days: BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 18 months of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ambulatory nursing care across the lifespan.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the health team and via telehealth/electronic encounters.

Description

The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters. This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team. The Clinic RN maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients. Actions will reflect the organization's core values.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
• Associate's Degree Nursing Or
