Job summary

Providence's Journey Clinic seeks an experienced RN to deliver comprehensive care in an ambulatory setting. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching needs across the lifespan, including telehealth encounters.

The RN will collaborate with a care team, maintain nursing standards and regulatory compliance, and support clinicians in delivering patient-focused, whole-person care as part of Providence Medical Group.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• RN license in the state where care is provided.
• BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• Chemotherapy course within 90 days of hire; maintain certification.
• 18 months of professional nursing experience.

The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters. This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team. The Clinic RN maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients. Actions will reflect the organization's core values.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or,
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: Registered Nurse License
  • Registered Nurse License in state where care will be provided
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course, Maintain certification - Medford Urology
• 18 months professional nursing experience.
