Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to support physicians and staff in the Cardiology clinics in Biloxi and Ocean Springs. You will manage patient histories, referrals, and education, while performing RN duties within the clinic setting.

The position requires Mississippi RN licensure, BCLS, and strong de-escalation and wound care skills, with potential for upskilling in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Mississippi.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days); must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.
• Minimum of three years experience in nursing preferred.
• Must maintain current continuing education units (CEUs). Must possess current skill level for wound care including staple/suture removal.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between patient, physician, and other components of patient care.
• Take patient histories and physician orders; schedule and evaluate referrals.
• Assist with suture removal, dressing changes, and RN scope of practice tasks.
• Provide health education and medication refills; answer general questions about care.
