Job summary

Avera is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Harrisburg Clinic. You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and coordinate patient care for the clinic.

The role requires an active RN license in the state of practice and strong patient education skills. You will ensure accurate charting, assist with procedures, and support timely, compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Coordinates patient care activities for the clinic.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures.
• Observes and reports patient condition and drug reactions.
• Manages appointment scheduling and triage in emergencies.
• Greets patients and prepares them for exams.
• Screens patients and conducts nursing assessments.
• Documents information in the patient chart.
• Educates patients about diagnostics, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
