Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse in the Greater Austin Region. You will manage patient care coordination and guide the care team to deliver top-tier care.

Assess conditions, develop personalized plans, monitor responses, and ensure safe healthcare experiences throughout the patient journey. You will collaborate with patients, families, and staff to promote healing, prevent delays, and optimize outcomes in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• 2 Years of Experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification is required; must obtain within 30 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and plan patient care needs; adjust as needed to meet outcomes.
• Build relationships with patients and families, managing emotional and physical pain to promote relief and healing.
• Guide patients to prevent complications and delays in healthcare encounters.
• Partner with colleagues and community to create a care plan.
• Leverage available resources for problem-solving with a systems-thinking mindset.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and community about health care.

Schedule: Full Time (Mon-Fri 8a-5p 40/hrs per week or flexible for 32/hrs per week)

• A solid grounding in nursing values and patient care standards.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, rules, and regulations as well as certification and accreditation body guidelines.
• An awareness of medical terminology, as well as strategies for health promotion, risk reduction, disease prevention, and management.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
