Job summary

St. Mary's Health & Clearwater Valley Health in Idaho is seeking a Clinic RN to coordinate clinical support in the physician practice. The role administers injections and immunizations, takes vitals, conducts intake assessments, and records patient information into the medical chart.

You will oversee the physician daily patient schedule and assist with minor office surgical procedures. Essential qualifications include AD or BS in an accredited nursing program or RN/LPN with a degree, 1–2 years

• RN or LPN: completion of an accredited degree program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all patient care processes in the clinic setting.
• Performs department core and job specific clinical competencies.
• Serves as a liaison between the clinic, hospital and other appropriate community resources.
• Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient and family education.
• Responsible for patient flow including pre-examination tirage, documentation of vital signs, summary of patient complaints, and moving patients into and out of exam rooms.
• Maintains inventory of clinical supplies at a reasonable level, medicines in current status and keeps clinical area neat and clean.
• Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens.
• Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times. Follows HIPAA regulations and policies.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
• Communicate with patients, families and co-workers in person in writing and on telephone.

• 1-2 years previous experience in a clinic outpatient setting

Preferred

• Current Idaho RN or LPN license in good standing
• BLS

Full Time, 40 hours per week.
