Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives in Lincoln, NE is seeking a registered nurse to join our care team. In this role you will deliver direct patient care, assist with procedures, and coordinate care across the clinic using our health IT systems.

You will help patients feel at ease by explaining instructions and addressing questions, while contributing to a supportive environment for colleagues and families. You will collaborate with providers and staff, maintain accurate records, uphold infection

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Nebraska.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients by taking vitals, reviewing allergies and medications, and documenting visit reason.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean and orderly.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a RN, you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination.

Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork.

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.

• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.

• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.

• Cleans and sterilizes instruments.

• Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license that allows you to practice in our state

Pay Range

$27.97 - $41.60 /hour
