Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to work under the supervision of the Physician and Practice Manager. You will act as a liaison between patient, physician, and care components, assisting with histories, orders, referrals, sutures, dressing changes, and patient education.

You will also assist with medication refills and address general questions about care, providing service with high standards and teamwork in a clinical setting connected to Singing River Pulmonary

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN school of nursing.
• Current Mississippi RN license.
• BCLS certification required.
• De-escalation training completed by 90 days.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Must maintain CEUs.
• Must have wound care skills including staple/suture removal.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and physician orders; schedule and evaluate referrals.
• Assist physician with wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal.
• Provide health education and answer questions about patient care.
• Assist with medication refills and general patient support.
• Coordinate between patient, physician, and other care team.
