Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Manager in Chapel Hill, NC to lead daily pharmacy operations within a clinic setting. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and partner with clinicians to achieve clinical outcomes while maintaining quality care.

You will coach staff, manage profitability, ensure compliance with laws, and drive growth through process improvements and community engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Current pharmacist's license in the state of North Carolina.
Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months of hire.
3+ years of pharmacist leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Create a great consumer and clinic partner experience and build strong relationships.
Provide clinical expertise to the staff and meet clinical outcomes with the team.
Counsel and educate patients on medication use, adverse effects, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and site policies.
Perform wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots.
Oversee financial profitability and identify growth opportunities in the pharmacy.
Coach and develop pharmacy staff to meet potential and deliver exceptional service.
Build an engaging team environment reflecting core values and culture.
Recruit top talent for pharmacy roles and promote opportunities.
Review KPIs with staff and identify trends for improvement.
Lead workforce and business planning for site operations.
Strengthen relationships with community stakeholders and clinics.
Drive marketing plans and materials for all offerings.
