Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora, CO is looking for a Supervisor to oversee the Patient Transport team. This full-time, days shift role supervises daily staff activities, coordinates staffing, and ensures service levels meet department standards.

You will coach and mentor staff, participate in evaluations, and uphold policies. The position offers onsite work with a competitive hourly pay of $24.11–$36.17, commensurate with experience and UCHealth’s rewards program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
