The Ohio State University Hematology Clinic is seeking a Clinic Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage treatment-related symptoms, triage, educate patients and families, and support ongoing care plans.
The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher and an active Ohio nursing license, with experience in hematology or oncology settings preferred.

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and their family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit.
The Hematology Clinic at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center provides specialized outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant blood disorders, including anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Clinic RNs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate complex patient care, provide education, manage treatment-related symptoms, perform triage, and support patients throughout their care journey. This fast-paced ambulatory setting emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and continuity of care for patients with acute and chronic hematologic conditions.
