Arcare seeks a Clinic Nurse to support providers in delivering primary healthcare in a clinic setting. The role involves hands-on patient care, independent procedures as needed, and ensuring quality service within the clinic environment. This position requires a 40-hour work week with weekend rotations and some travel.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, organized, and team-oriented, dedicated to patient wellness and collaborative care across the health team.

Formación

• LPN or RN degree.
• Current LPN or RN license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with individuals of all ages.
• Punctuality and ability to stay on schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Observe patients, chart and report changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
• Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, and note times and amounts on patients' charts.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
• Provide basic patient care and treatments.
• Work as part of a health care team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests or treatments and explain procedures.
• Inventory and requisition supplies and instruments.
• Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms.
• Participates in the Center's TQI activities and performs duties in accordance with applicable standards.
• Provide patient-centered care that incorporates culturally and linguistically appropriate services.
• Educate patients about health maintenance activities, adoption of healthy behaviors, and support services available in the community.
