Requirements include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and ARRT/ARMRIT certification, with a minimum of 6 months MRI experience. Maintain safety and HIPAA compliance while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration/certification.
• Minimum 6 months related MRI experience.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per protocol.
• Prepare patients, screen for contraindications, and position them.
• Monitor patient safety and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to meet diagnostic needs.
• Maintain records and proper image storage.
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA rules.
• Pursue ongoing education on MRI technology.
