Valley Ortho Aspen is hiring a Clinic Medical Assistant (MA) to support Dr Purnell's Team in Aspen, CO. This full-time, on-site position focuses on patient intake, rooming, basic procedures, and clerical duties in a fast-paced clinic.

You will assist licensed staff, perform EKGs if trained, maintain records, and ensure smooth patient flow. A CMA/RMA or CO CNA certification is required or related experience, with BLS current or within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered medical assistant (CMA/RMA) or CO CNA required.
• Current BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association or within 3 months of hire.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient assessments and rooming.

Great opportunity for a Medical Assistant to join our Team at Valley Ortho Aspen - working with Dr Purnell's Team!

Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.

Position is FULL TIME. Great Schedule - Day shifts, M-F, 8-5! Be home in time for dinner, no weekends, no nights, no call!

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA), CO CNA (DORA) or related Clinic/Patient Care experience.
• Current BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Health care setting experience preferred.
• Ability to perform EKGs preferred.

SALARY RANGE

• $19.00 - $27.75/ hour (Clinic PCT - no certification)
• $20.00 - $28.87/hour (Clinic CNA)
• $20.41 - 30.02/hour (Clinic MA)
• Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set
• $1000 sign on bonus.
