Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha is seeking a Clinic EMT to provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform vital assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Requirements include NE EMT license, state registration, BLS, and completion of an approved EMT program; sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. You will greet patients, assist with intake, collect specimens, and administer medications and vaccines as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved EMT training program graduate.
• Active State NE EMT License required.
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Pay Range
