Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston is hiring a Clinic CNA to support patient care under RN direction. You will perform vital signs, assist with transport, and contribute to the patient’s plan of care, delivering compassionate, high-quality service in a interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a ND CNA certification and CPR/BLS within 30 days. You will help maintain safety, document care activities, and uphold CHI's mission of dignified healthcare for our Williston community.

Qualifications

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Clinic CNA at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being. To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare.

• Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
• Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs
• Assists with patient transports and transfers
• Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation
• Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
