Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for clinic-based, full-time daytime coverage in Arkansas. The role supports physicians and care teams by delivering nursing care, managing patient records, and coordinating patient flow within the clinic.

The successful candidate will hold an AR LPN license (compact state acceptable) and maintain BLS certification. A minimum of 6 months clinic experience is preferred to ensure smooth operation and patient safety.

Qualifications

• AR LPN license required; compact state license acceptable.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• Clinic competency assessment annually by transcript due date.
• 6 months minimum clinic experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
• Assesses clinical needs of patient and updates patient records as needed.
• Communicates effectively with peers, staff, physicians, and administration.
• Delivers care with appropriate delegation and maintains two-way communication.
• Maintains exam rooms and prepares medical supplies as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications and educates patients and families.
