Buzz ABA is hiring dependable, energetic people to work one-on-one with children with autism as Behavior Technicians during afternoon hours Monday through Friday. No ABA or behavioral health experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate professionally and reliably.
• Ability to complete required employment and background screening.
• Ability to consistently work scheduled afternoon sessions.
• Comfortable working directly and actively with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and skill development.
• Collect and record behavioural data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment plans.
• Implement individualized behaviour intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision.
• Support teaching and reinforcement of social, communication, and functional skills tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioural records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Support the implementation of care plans for children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

A Behavior Technician works directly with children with autism to help them develop important communication, social, play, independence, and daily-living skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

These are helpful, but not required:

• Retail or customer-service experience
• Experience working with children
• Childcare, camp, coaching, education, or recreation experience
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, autism, or child development
• Previous ABA or RBT experience
