HCA Florida Gainesville Primary Care is seeking a Clinic Assistant to provide patient-centered support in a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, days). This role focuses on front-desk duties, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting clinical staff with non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

• Greet and communicate with patients
• Performs selected administrative duties and assists clinical staff with non-clinical duties
• Scheduling and canceling patient appointments
• Answering the telephone
• Verifying patient insurance and demographics
• Collection of co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances
• Prepares exam rooms with needed equipment, supplies, and patient education materials
• Assists with autoclaving of instruments where appropriate with documented training
• Electronically filing and retrieving medical records
