Job summary

Pomona-Valley-Hospital-Medical-Center seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care via the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will guide patient/family teaching and coordinate activities of nursing staff, while upholding professional standards.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The role requires a CA RN license, BLS, and oncology experience; BSN and OCN preferred, with the OCN to be obtained within 1 year.

Qualifications

• BLS knowledge and proficiency in nursing theory and practice.
• Chemo Certification/OCN preferred; must obtain OCN within 1 year of hire; 2 years oncology experience.

Position Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The registered nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. May perform other duties as assigned.e

Preferred Qualifications:BSN with three (3) years clinical experience or a minimum of six (6) years clinical experience. Member ofa Clinical Specialty Nursing Organization

Chemo Certification, OCN preferred, must obtain OCN within 1 year of hire, 2 years oncology experience.

Salary range: $54.70 - $80.87 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
