Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist to lead training for CMSU modalities remotely, with preferred candidates in Denver or St. Louis.

You will manage final-step deployments, design and run training, and advise clinicians on best practices to maximize product utilization. Role emphasizes project leadership, stakeholder communication, and hands-on problem solving, with travel to sites as needed and a strong focus on education and patient care

Qualifications

  • Project management experience with multiple sites/modules.
  • Strong oral and written communication across clinical teams.
  • Experience presenting to physicians, nurses and technologists.
  • Teaching experience is a plus; valid radiologic modality credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the project manager for the final step in CMSU modality implementations at each site.
  • Develop and manage training plans and deliver presentations to doctors, nurses, and technologists.
  • Consult with physicians on workflow, image acquisition, protocols and image quality.
  • Identify additional training needs and prepare targeted programs.
  • Maintain CMSU clinical contact at each facility and document site reports.
  • Provide pre/post communications for internal and external customers.
  • Maintain technical and clinical proficiency and resolve system issues.

Job description

This is a Remote Role but would prefer candidates in the St Louis, or Denver

  • Be the project manager for the final step in the implementation of a specific CMSU diagnostic imaging modality at each location.
  • Develop the training plan and manage the training process and presentation for the doctors, nurses, and technologists at each location to assure their best utilization of CMSU products and services.
  • Consult with physicians and clinicians regarding best clinical practices (e.g., work flow, image acquisition, protocols, image quality, etc) to maximize each customers satisfaction with CMSU products and services.
  • Determine whether client needs additional training or development and preparing additional training as determined by need.
  • Maintain contact as the key clinical contact person for CMSU at each facility for follow-up and additional training needs.
  • Complete site reports documenting the daily training details.
  • Provide Pre/Post Communications for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain technical and clinical proficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems affecting system performance and image quality.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues pertaining to system performance and image quality.
  • Work with service engineers as needed.
  • Complete Alerts and PCRs when applicable.
  • Provide mid-week update to Applications Management and local Canon Team.

  • Based on Modality Supported: (XR) ARRT RT(R); (VL) ARRT RT( R)-Minimum Required, VI, CV or CI - Preferred; (MR) ARRT; (CT) ARRT RT(R); (PETCT) AART (CT ) and Either ARRT (N) or CNMT.
  • Must maintain active motor vehicle/driver’s license from the state where the specialist resides.
  • 2 Year / associate’s degree in radiologic technologist in the specific modality
  • 5 years Clinical experience at a hospital or imaging center. years
