The Davey Tree Expert Co. is hiring a Climbing Arborist Trainee in Auburn Hills, MI. You will learn tree pruning techniques and participate in operations as a member of a tree crew. Ideal candidates should love the outdoors and ideally have a background in related fields.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, including unhealthy limbs.
• Learn tree climbing and operation of tree care equipment.
• Assist in the removal of hazardous trees.

Skills

Relevant pesticide licenses and certificates
