Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Tree Care Groundsman. You will haul and chip brush, operate a chainsaw safely, and help keep work sites clean and organized while supporting crew members.

The Tree Care Groundsman is responsible for hauling and chipping brush, using a chainsaw safely, cleaning and organizing work areas, inspecting, and helping other crew members with tasks and continually learning new things. Physical requirements/Working conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.

Other

This position is full time and may be scheduled any of the 7 days of the week. Must be able to pass drug screen.
