Job summary

United Rentals in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Vertical Sales Rep for Climate Solutions. You will be the voice and initial contact for prospective clients, using sales and consultative skills to understand needs and convert them into loyal customers.

You will learn the technical features of Climate Solutions equipment, negotiate contracts, and work with CRM tools like Salesforce. This role requires physical lifting up to 45 pounds and availability for after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals.
• Progress sales process in person or over the telephone.
• Negotiate transactions and contracts directly with customers.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM is a plus.
• Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and training.
• Lift 45 pounds and operate forklift, lift gate and box truck.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services is strongly preferred Ability to progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone Capable of negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly with the customer Mechanically inclined and ability to learn the technical features of the (Climate Solutions) equipment to provide specialized solutions to clients Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM a plus Available for on call rotation to provide after hour service and response Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training Attention to detail with regard to the sales technology tools and strong organizational skills Ability to lift 45 pounds and safely operate a forklift, lift gate and box truck Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is a must This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
