Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in the Power/HVAC division to perform on-site HVAC equipment installations and minor repairs, while safely operating a delivery vehicle to customer locations.

Responsibilities include equipment demonstrations, loading/unloading assistance, and maintenance checks. Must have a high school diploma, basic HVAC knowledge, and a valid driver's license. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of common tools used in the role.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

What You'll Do

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment
• Report equipment condition before and after usage
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements
