Job summary

Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) invites law students to join the Cavers Internship for a 10-week, full-time summer program focused on climate and energy, clean air and water, ocean conservation, and environmental justice. Interns work with an attorney, researching issues and drafting memoranda, public comments, and portions of motions and briefs.

Interns may meet agency officials and collaborate with environmental groups and communities in New England, gaining practical experience in advocacy

Qualifications

• Law students seeking a summer internship in public interest environmental law.
• Strong research and writing abilities for legal issues and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Research legal issues and draft documents from memos to public comments and portions of motions and briefs.
• Draft internal strategy memos and assist with filings and briefs for environmental matters.
• Attend meetings with state and federal agency officials and collaborate with environmental groups and communities in New England.
